Today we at greenarrowradio, were fortunate enough to revisit with Playas and Hata ceo Hota. He is a local guy on the fringe of making a hit in the urban entertainment industy. http://broodmoor.com/

We reflected w/theblog-master himelf Theron from thought mechanics. He has had an eventful 2005 as well and he led us to a new voice/mind on greenarrowradio, Mr. Matthew Good. You know him from the music world, but he is also a web-designer and blog captain himself. You can check out both of their work on our blogroll. Listen to the podcast now.

Here is where I got the link (and stole the following text) http://bedazzled.blogs.com/bedazzled/

Basically, Pandora (created by The Music Genome Project) is a personal radio station that you can tailer to your likes and dislikes. It’s free with advertising, or you can pay a small fee yearly to not have to see ads.
You start by creating a “station” based on a favourite song or artist. If it picks a song you don’t like you tell it so and it’ll never play that song again. There are certain restrictions: although you can create a station based on a song like “The She Goes’ by The La’s, it won’t actually play that song , as that would violate the DMCA. You can only skip ahead so many times per hour etc. But as long as the songs aren’t “on demand”, and they pay the appropriate royalties for streaming, evidently it’s all legal.

The G has made mention of my lack of postings, gentle readers and I; must make amends.
The GreenArrowRadio XMous show was a fifty fifty lot of wonder and dread. I must confess that it was not a snap to put together as although the station has a great deal of Christmas Music most of it is far below sub-par. I mean, really; having to listen to the whole tool box christmas album to get the one song that was halfway decent truly sucked (I must say) and, most of the good album art is on the absolute worst albums of content. Arg!
I kind of wished I had made some sort of mark on the lot that I previewed so that I would never have to touch them again.
I did enjoy the end result however. Nothing says Christmas like Wool or The Dandy Warhols.
On the whole I would do it again, perhaps the Mister will allow me the pleasure of a RPM or punk show? Hmmmmm???????

Matthew Good: Audio of Being

December 13th, 2005

A friend of mine is collaborating with his favorite musician…on a web designing adventure….which brought me to this cd. With the release of IN A COMA, Matthew Good’s recent best of release….I went to a comfort zone.

This album is one of those rare treats. Solid from top to bottom. Like a perfect cup of morning coffee, the blend of mellow acoustic and ramming electric riffs makes it a sure repeat on the sound system. It travels well on any ride and is a good companion in a snowstorm for sure….

Take a reminder listen to this album if you forgot about it, if you have yet to uncover tis gem….take my advice and check it out.
